ATTORNEY TALK – Casual Conversations About the Law, is what the name implies; a casual conversation with men and women working in the legal profession. Each episode will feature a single lawyer who’ll tell us about themselves, their practice, and how and why they chose their fields. Ken’s podcast is intended to positively highlight what lawyers love about their profession in a casual, warm and entertaining format. Host of the Show

kenThayerKenneth W. Thayer is a Partner at the Law Firm of Gaylord Popp, LLC. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and his Minor Certificate in Business Administration from Providence College in 1992. Kenneth was a member of the Providence College Rugby Team. He attended Seton Hall University School of Law and received the degree of Juris Doctorate in 1996. He is licensed at the Federal and State levels within the State of New Jersey. Concentrating his practice in the legal representation of individuals in the areas of personal injury, premise liability, products liability, employment law and workers compensation claims. Mr. Thayer is a member of the American Association for Justice, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Mercer County Bar Association and the Mercer County American Inn of Court. Mr. Thayer is a former Adjunct Professor of Law at Seton Hall University School of Law. In his spare time he enjoys coaching youth soccer and baseball, rock wall climbing, snowboarding, mountain biking, collecting comic books, playing guitar, shooting sports, and discussing politics, pop culture, and 70s & 80s punk music with his wife who cares not to listen.

samSamuel M. Gaylord is a New Jersey disability litigator specializing in the areas of workers’ compensation, Social Security Disability and disability pension appeals representing injured individuals.  A former Mercer County Bar Association president, Sam has been selected to Super Lawyers for 10 straight years and rated as “superb” by Avvo, the independent attorney review site.  Sam is certified with the New Jersey Supreme Court as a workers’ compensation law attorney and is licensed to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C.  He received his BA degree from Syracuse University and his J.D. degree from Seton Hall School of Law.  He served as a judicial intern with the Honorable Charles A. Delehey and since 1996 has worked primarily representing injured workers.  Mr. Gaylord is a member of the New Jersey State, Mercer County and American Bar Associations as well as the Association of American Justice and the New Jersey Council on Safety and Health.  Sam has lectured and written on a variety of issues concerning workers’ compensation, Social Security Disability and disability pension appeals and in his spare time enjoys coaching youth baseball, skiing, playing trumpet and spending time with his wife Amy and three children Rachel, Anna and Benjamin.
